SELECTED WORKS · 2010 — 2024
Gargi commissions paintings in a variety of styles, favoring an impressionistic approach, for clients around the globe. Having raised over $30,000 for charities including Room to Read, her art carries purpose in every brushstroke. She paints between her studios in Lake Como, Italy, and Denver, Colorado. Gargi works closely with private clients to bring their vision to life--turning favorite views, memories, and visions into timeless artworks.
“There is a profound sense of nostalgia and life captured in every brushstroke. Having The Reclining Buddha in our study feels like preserving a window to one of our fondest memories."- Private Client

About the artist
Gargi aims to capture her client's emotion and vision of important memories, sacred places, and symbolic moments, in a way that transports them back to those memorable times. Creating mostly landscape art that moves from interpretations of the great Art Masters to original works, she has painted scenes from around the world.
Fifteen paintings have found homes with private clients, corporations and collectors from across the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil and United States. The majority of her output is on commission, made in close conversation with the owners who want a thoughtful experience and custom piece. Proceeds from Gargi's work total more than $30,000 for charity, directed to female education, conservation, and animal welfare. Her latest focus and passion is interpretative storytelling through art - combining imagery, symbolism and meaning to create powerful, unique work.
